Portman’s Montecito, California property just sold for a whopping $8 million, making her the highest-paid actress in Hollywood.
It was only just made public that the Black Swan alumnae and Benjamin Millepied, dancer and choreographer, had their home listed by Architectural Digest late last year. However, the mansion didn’t last long on the market because it was sold in an off-market transaction. The identity of the buyer has not been made public.
However, the couple hasn’t lived in the house for a long time and made a small profit from the sale. It was first reported that Benjamin and Natalie purchased the property in 2017 for a sum of $6.5 million.
The 10.4-acre property is situated in Montecito, Santa Barbara County. Myers designed the 3,991-square-foot residence, which has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows, glass garage doors, and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean are just a few of its numerous amenities.
Other than that, it has a number of outside features, such as a variety of trees and other flora, an outdoor swimming pool, a fire pit area, and many balconies with ocean views to choose from! In addition, there is an outdoor kitchen with a retractable roof and a bar and dining area.
Natalie and her family have yet to be located; however, there were rumors last year that they were considering purchasing property in Australia.
Real estate agent Gabin Rubinstein of Luxe Listings acknowledged to Women’s Day in July of last year that he had shown a Sydney suburb home to the famous couple. This home was described as “wonderful” by the agent, but he wouldn’t say if Natalie made an offer on it.
Modern House’s Marcus Lloyd-Jones is said to have offered Natalie a private tour of an Australian home in Mulbring at the Hunter Valley in May. However, it’s not clear if Natalie has expressed an interest in acquiring the $3 million mansions in question.
Natalie reportedly fell in love with the notion of living in Sydney, Australia, while filming Thor: Love and Thunder in the city. During their brief move, the actress and her family rented a property for $7,000 a month, according to the Daily Mail.
After meeting on the set of Black Swan, Natalie and Benjamin got married in 2012. For the first several months of their married life, they lived in Benjamin’s home country of France. Aleph (born in 2011) and Amalia (born in 2017) are the couple’s two children.
